About this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the One Breath Android application, package name com.terako.onebreath, provided by Terako.
Information accessed by the app
One Breath accesses only the information required to provide its app-pausing features:
- Foreground app identifier: the Android Accessibility Service reports which app has come to the foreground. One Breath uses the package identifier to determine whether a user-created rule applies.
- Installed launchable apps: One Breath reads the names, package identifiers, categories, and icons of launchable apps so the user can choose which apps a rule covers.
- Camera: if the user receives and chooses to complete a photo challenge, One Breath uses the camera to check whether the image contains a requested color.
Accessibility Service
The Accessibility Service is used only to detect when an app selected by the user comes to the foreground and to open the appropriate pause screen. One Breath does not retrieve window content, read text displayed by other apps, inspect taps, capture passwords, or record typed input. Accessibility information is not transmitted or shared.
Camera processing
Photo challenges are processed locally on the device. Images are not added to the photo library, uploaded, sold, or shared. Android or the app's image-processing components may keep temporary files in the app cache until they are removed by the operating system or the app is uninstalled.
Information stored on the device
One Breath stores user-created rules, selected app identifiers, display preferences, app labels used by the interface, and local progress events such as passing a gate or choosing “Never mind.” This information is stored in the application's private device storage and is used only to provide the app's features.
Collection, sharing, and sale
One Breath does not transmit the information described above to Terako or to third parties. It does not sell personal information, share information for advertising, perform cross-app tracking, or use third-party analytics.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains on the device until the user clears progress history, resets the app from the Data & Privacy screen, clears the app's storage through Android settings, or uninstalls the app. One Breath does not retain a server-side copy.
Security
Stored information is protected by Android's application sandbox. Because One Breath does not operate a remote account or data server, app data is not transferred to developer-operated infrastructure.
Children's privacy
One Breath is a general-purpose digital wellbeing tool and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when One Breath's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revision is published.
